Guided Group Rides

For those coming to north Wales as a group you may prefer to be led by one of our qualified guides. Whether you are a school, military group, club, society, family or group of friends our guides can select a ride suitable for all participants.

Our guides are fully qualified and hold a full first aid certificate and the Mountain Bike Leaders (MBL) award level 2, this qualifies them to lead rides up to red difficulty level. Our guides have extensive knowledge of the area and are experienced in riding all the trails used on our guided rides. Full risk assessments are available for each ride and our guides will help assess the skill level of the group and choose an appropriate ride to suit. All our guides will ensure that your safety and enjoyment is maximised during the ride and are fully covered by our public liability insurance.

Each guide can take up to 8 people. Inevitably choosing a route that suits the skill and fitness level of all participants can be difficult and our guides have the ultimate right to select and change the ride venue. (See Terms and Conditions – Guided Rides) Charges are made per group or per head depending on clients situation. All guided rides must be booked in person or by telephone/e mail, when booking for a number of people it will help to have their bike size requirements at hand

We are able to transport up to 24 bikes and 4 people to the chosen ride venue, at least 2 of these bikes must be hired from Beics Betws to take advantage of the transportation facilities.  Alternatively up to 24 bikes can be delivered and collected to your chosen destination where you will meet the guide.

Prices will depend on a number of factors. As a guide, a group of 8 may pay around £180 for a days guided ride which starts from Bikes Betws premises.  Group Bike hire carries discounts for multiple hire arrangements; we will happily quote for a package of bike hire, guide and transportation.
