Where are you located ?
Beics Betws@Llandudno is located to the rear of a café in 110 Upper Mostyn Street, LL30 . The café is called Provideros, We are called ‘Provstretcher Cycle and Lifestyle Centre’. Walk through the café seating area and down the stairs at the back.
Do you have Electric Bikes ?
Yes we have adult electric bikes. The hybrid bikes are at Llandudno and the E mountain bikes are at Betws y Coed and have to be booked in advance. We also have an electric Cargo bike for carrying children and dogs
How much are your bikes?
They range from £8 half day for childen’s bikes to £15 per half day for adult bikes. Electric Bikes from £20 half day. Full details of prices are on our website.
Do you have bikes suitable for babies and young children ?
Yes we have bikes ranging from very small balance bike to mountain bikes for 8- 11 year olds . We also have child seats, trailers and an E cargo bikes for carrying small children. We have a tag along for children aged 4 – 8.
Do I need to book and how do I do that?
It is advisable to book bikes ahead especially at busy times. Bookings can be made by telephone 01492 701244 or 0774915506, face to face or by e mailing info@bikewales.co.uk .
Can I park near you?
There is some street parking nearby but there a 90 minutes restriction. There is some unrestricted parking around the town but places are hard to find. Parking is allowed on the promenade but you must pay. There is a multi story car park in town but again you must pay.
How long can I take the bikes out for?
Half days hire is 3 hours or last return 4pm. Full day is up to 6 hours, last return 4pm. One some busy days the last return time might be extended. The return time will be shown on your hire agreement. Late return must be negotiated in advance.
What happens if I am late back?
If you are going to be later than the time shown on your agreement and the issue is not bike related then you will be charged £5 per bike for every half an hour you are late.
Do you have an bikes routes near you, and are any of them flat?
We are close to Sustrans route 5 which follows the coast from Bangor to Chester. The flattest route is along the promenade or along the estuary to Conwy . We have several routes mapped out for you and will have these on a bike computer which you can hire.
