The north Wales coast and inland areas enjoy some excellent cycling routes, many of which are traffic free. Sustrans route 5 stretches from Holyhead to Chester and beyond. This way marked route has several sections of mainly flat traffic free cycling with scenic views and easy cycling suitable for families.
Marine drive circumnavigates the Great Orme and must be one of the most scenic rides in the UK. Although hilly it is great fun on an E bike! Exploring the rural areas beyond the coast opens up a huge range of cycling possibilities ranging from the challenging Brailsford Way to the easier Lon Las Ogwen and the lanes of the Conwy Valley. The hills provide interest and are great fun on an E bike!
Leave the car behind and explore the area by bike. Travelling by bike can provide a different holiday experience and there are some great longer distance routes many with train return options
