Bike Rides and Tours
North West Wales and Snowdonia/Eryri enjoys some of the best choice of cycle routes in the Uk. Ranging from technical single track and downhill mountain biking to flat traffic free coastal cycle tracks, there is something for everyone. Whilst the hills and mountain add to the beauty of the area they can also add challenge to your cycle rides. We recommend E bikes to tackle those hills with ease!
Some routes are signposted and easy to follow, others require maps and navigation particularly the off-road rides on moorland and forests. We have mapped out many of these rides and have the GPX files to download onto your device. Alternatively, we can rent you a Garmin bike SAT NAV computer with the GPX files pre-loaded for £5.
Longer Bike Rides around Wales
Why not leave your car behind and hire a bike and spend your holiday exploring the wonderful cycling routes north Wales has to offer. With several long distance Sustrans routes here the navigation is easy. Explore Anglesey, the Llyn Peninsular or the Clwyd valley and hills , we can help you plan your route and provide maps and advice on accommodation and trip planning.
The quiet roads and hills of Wales can be quite challenging so why not take one of our trekking E bikes to help you ride with ease and enjoyment.
We can supply panniers and other touring equipment and can assist with transfers if necessary.
Guided Tours
Whether riding as a group or individual you may feel happier riding with a qualified Cycle Guide. Our Guides are experienced off road riders qualified to MTB Leader level 2 or level 3 or level 1 or 2 road cycle leaders. They have knowledge of the local trails and hold a valid First Aid Certificate. They can lead group of up to 8 riders. They can identify rides and trails suitable for the level of rider in the group. Most Guides or leaders are not permitted to coach riders only provide general instruction and leadership.
Guided ride participants are covered by our Public Liability insurance to the sum of £5M. We advise that all organised groups with people under 18 and all groups riding as part of a commercial guided group use a qualified Guide/Leader whilst riding.
Prices for guided rides vary depending on length of day, day of the week, size and experience of group and location. We are happy to discuss your needs and provide a quotation. Guided rides are available for bike hire or own bike customers.
